Uncork Loudoun Announces Three‑Part Fall Trade Tasting Series Ahead of Virginia Wine Month

The Loudoun Wineries & Winegrowers Association, in partnership with Visit Loudoun and Loudoun Economic Development, unveils a three‑part Fall Trade Tasting Series running September 20–22, ahead of Virginia Wine Month in October. The series includes a Winery Education Day at 868 Estate Winery, a Grand Trade Tasting at the Zwiesel Fortessa Americas Showroom featuring all thirteen wineries and more than sixty estate‑grown wines, and an Open Door Trade Tasting at October One Wine Bar in Downtown Leesburg. Attendance is limited to buyers, sommeliers, hospitality operators, and press.

Uncork Loudoun Launches Wine Education Series

Loudoun’s winemakers are ramping up efforts to place more local wines on restaurant menus and grocery shelves with the launch of the Uncork Loudoun Trade Education Series, opening July 14 at Hillsborough Winery. The series invites buyers, sommeliers, educators, and trade press for guided tastings and discussions on grape varieties, sub‑appellations, and viticultural practices across the thirteen participating wineries, led by winemaker Kerem Baki (Hillsborough) and Aimee Henkle of Lost Creek Winery.

Uncorked Loudoun: Getting Local Wines Out of Tasting Rooms
