Founded by the Deliso and Charron families on a 120-acre property tucked between the Blue Ridge and Short Hill Mountain, 868 Estate farms 21 acres across 13 varietals under winemaker Tim Kish.

868 Estate Vineyards sits on a 120-acre property in Purcellville, nestled between the Blue Ridge and Short Hill Mountain ranges. The Deliso and Charron families built the estate as a true farm winery, with 21 acres under vine and a tightly farmed program of 13 varietals.
Winemaking
Winemaker Tim Kish joined in 2022 after stints at Bluemont Vineyards, Shenandoah Vineyards and Jefferson Vineyards. The cellar leans on 100% French oak with 16–20 months of aging on the reds, producing between 2,000 and 4,000 cases per year of single-varietal and Bordeaux-style blends.
Recognition
Recent accolades include back-to-back Gold medals at the 2026 Virginia Governor’s Cup for the 2022 Meritage and 2023 Meritage, Gold at the 2025 Virginia Governor’s Cup for the 2022 Estate Meritage (89 pts James Suckling), the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc (88 pts) and the 2022 Chardonnay (90 pts), plus Gold at the 2025 Loudoun Wine Awards for the 2023 Cabernet Franc. The estate is also a Decanter Magazine favorite, with wines recognized in their tasting reviews.
The team
868 Estate Vineyards is owned by two families, the Delisos and the Charrons, who farm and run the estate together.
