Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Produced by 8 Chains North Winery · Waterford, Virginia

Tasting notes

This Sauvignon Blanc opens with a grassy, subtly sweet nose and vibrant tropical fruit aromas. The palate shows ripe melon, citrus, and pineapple with a rounded texture and bright acidity. A soft, clean finish highlights the wine's freshness and balance, capturing the expressive character of the Waterford Vineyard.

Winemaking notes. Fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve purity and aromatics. No malolactic fermentation, maintaining crisp natural acidity. Bottled in April 2025, the wine reflects minimal intervention and a focus on freshness, varietal character, and a soft texture.

Vintage notes. The 2024 season brought steady early growth followed by warm, dry conditions that enhanced concentration and ripeness. The resulting fruit showed excellent concentration, lifted acidity, and a rounder mouthfeel, producing a Sauvignon Blanc of clarity, freshness, and exceptional balance.
