‘Gaila Force’ White Blend 2023
Produced by Bozzo Family Vineyards · Purcellville, Virginia
Tasting notes
Bright and crisp, a summer-into-fall white. Tropical fruit and fresh citrus lead the palate, carried by lively acidity to a clean, pleasant finish. A natural match for Asian cuisine, shellfish, and spice-driven dishes.
Winemaking notes. Fermented with cultured yeast and aged entirely in stainless steel for six months to preserve freshness, aromatics, and varietal purity. No oak. Filtered to 0.45 micron and bottled dry at 0.09% residual sugar.
Vintage notes. 2023 was a stellar vintage in Loudoun County, delivering a better-than-average harvest of exceptionally clean, ripe fruit. Even ripening gave the Viognier its aromatic lift, while the Petit Manseng held on to the natural acidity that frames the blend. Gaila Force takes its name from cousin Gail, a force to be reckoned with.
Accolades. Bronze, Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association Competition.
