Bozzo Family Vineyards
Maureen and Stephen Bozzo founded Bozzo Family Vineyards in 2013 and planted 8 acres on Charles Town Pike in 2015; their son Stephen Jr. tends the vineyard while Stephen Sr. crafts the wines.
Six grapes, one Sei What blend
Bozzo Family Vineyards is exactly what its name suggests: a true family operation. Maureen and Stephen Bozzo founded the winery in 2013, planted the vineyard in 2015, and opened the tasting room doors in 2018. Stephen Sr. is the winemaker; his son Stephen Jr. manages the vineyard, and Jackie Vile leads the tasting room.
Vineyards & soils
Eight acres are planted across seven varietals: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The vines are rooted in Eubanks Stoney Loam, Tankerville, and Middleburg Loam soils that give Loudoun’s western edge its character.
Recognition
The estate produces 2,000–2,500 cases per year and has earned seven Gold Medals across Virginia, California and local competitions.
