Tasting notes

A beautiful integration of fruit and wood. Dark crimson in the glass, with aromas of cocoa, black cherry, and toasted oak. A burst of cherry cordial fills the palate, with notes of plum and a light tannic finish.

Winemaking notes. A four-variety Bordeaux-style blend of 40% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged 18 months in American and French oak, 25% new, building toast and structure while leaving the fruit in the lead.
