Tasting notes
Light floral scent and bright citrus notes. A pleasing blend of fruit and acidity. Made in a European style that lets the brightness of the fruit come through.
Winemaking notes. Fermented in stainless steel with commercial yeast, with no maceration and no malolactic fermentation. Aged six months in stainless steel and sterile filtered before bottling. Winemakers Nate and Kent kept handling minimal to preserve aromatics and natural acidity.
Vintage notes. The 2022 season brought bouts of cold weather in the spring, a wet summer, and storms from Hurricane Ian. Fine weather in September and October turned the year around, and harvest delivered strong yields of high-quality fruit.
Accolades. Gold, 2025 Loudoun Wine Awards. Silver, 2026 Virginia Governor’s Cup.
