Tasting notes

Aromas of peach, apricot, and violet rise from the glass, layered with subtle vanilla and sweet baking spice. The palate is lush and creamy with lifted citrus zest and gentle minerality. Lingering stone fruit and toasted almond carry through the finish.

Winemaking notes. Whole-cluster pressed, fermented and aged sur lie for twenty months with monthly bâtonnage to build texture and complexity. The wine matured in a balanced selection of American and French oak, combining new and neutral barrels.

Vintage notes. The 2022 growing season began with a cool, measured spring followed by a warm, balanced summer that encouraged steady ripening. Extended hang time into a gentle fall enhanced Viognier's aromatic intensity and texture. Cool evening air from Short Hill Mountain preserved freshness.
