Endhardt Vineyards
Hannes and Sarah Endhardt founded their 46-acre Purcellville estate in 2018; the tasting room opened in fall 2021, and 11 acres are now planted across seven varietals on two distinct blocks.
Cabernet Franc, white and red
Endhardt Vineyards was founded in 2018 by Hannes Endhardt, a Southern Germany native, and his wife Sarah. The estate spans 46 acres on Lincoln Road. First vines went in the ground in 2019, the tasting room opened in fall 2021, and the property now farms 11 acres across seven varietals: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec.
Two blocks, two expressions
The Upper Block sits on warmer, shale-heavy soils that produce rich, expressive fruit with lifted aromatics. The Lower Block’s cooler, clay-driven ground delivers balance, structure and natural freshness.
Recognition
Six Gold medals at the Virginia Governor’s Cup, three consecutive Golds (2019, 2020, 2021) for the Fervor Red and Best Bordeaux Blend in Loudoun 2024, plus Best Wine in Loudoun 2024 and a Double Gold at the San Francisco Chronicle for the Upper Block Sauvignon Blanc. Annual production is about 1,000 cases.
